		<description>The HTC is a good phone and those I know who have it like it. According to the specs, the US version runs 800/900/1800/1900 MHz so it *should* work in India (which uses a combo of 900 and 1800 MHz). I&#039;d check the box in the US to verify it can run on both networks and also check your local carriers to make sure they&#039;re one 900/1800 to be absolutely sure. That said, I didn&#039;t have any problems with a mobile service in India on a US bought phone.

I just want to ask you since you have traveled a lot and have tech knowledge...I&#039;ve told a friend of mine to get me the latest HTC Touch pro2 phone from the US. Its a GSM phone as per the specifications on the Walmart site.Will it work in INDIA??
